James Wappel Miniature Painting: Running Man

James Wappel Miniature Painting: Running Man: Back to that unit of converted Terminators.  As you know from the previous posts, I took regular space marines, extended the arms and legs, added lots of green stuff and brown stuff, and voila!

Warhammer 40k, Fantasy, Wargames & Miniatures News: Bell of Lost Souls: The Great GW Smelt - Saying Goodbye to Metal: Word today is that truckloads containing literally metric tons of metal

James Wappel Miniature Painting: When 'life' imitates 'art'

James Wappel Miniature Painting: When 'life' imitates 'art': OK, this is another blast from the past.  Long ago, I had seen this piece of art (not sure who the artist is, but I am assuming that it does

originate from Games Workshop).

James Wappel Miniature Painting: Fun with sculpey parts!

James Wappel Miniature Painting: Fun with sculpey parts!:Here's a conversion I did many years ago after I made that first squad of Grey Knight terminators.  I took some generic space marine bodies,

chopped them up, extended the legs and arms, and then did a whole lot of sculpting with brown stuff and green stuff.

Realm of Chaos 80s : Goblin Green, and lots of it! Orlygg's Old School ...

Realm of Chaos 80s : Goblin Green, and lots of it! Orlygg's Old School ...:

It is half term for me this week. That means an entire week off with the
wife and kids, and considering that over half of the Oldhammerers at
the Foundry Event too were teachers, I suspect a lot of other folk are
off to. This give me plenty of time to blog, paint and game. The trouble
is, I have just bought a new top of the range computer and have found
Steam. Skyrim is digging deep into my time once again. Even so, I have
found time to finish my Adventurer's Cart and work is beginning to wind down on the Nightmare Legion too.

James Wappel Miniature Painting: My first Inquisitor

James Wappel Miniature Painting: My first Inquisitor:

This will always be one of my favorite miniatures.  It was also one of the first elaborate conversions I had done.

It involved incorporating a Confrontation miniature with some Games

Workshop bitz, and lots of little scratch built pieces.  The primary

element was the psycannon that I made out of the grey sculpey, which is

stronger and keeps an edge.

El Honor de Grombrindal: René la Massue [Enanos]

El Honor de Grombrindal: René la Massue [Enanos]:

"Sabed, oh
